Holcomer White- Holland Colours has designed a unique extremely-opaque, highly-concentrated white colourant for use in monolayer PET Ultra High Temperature (UHT) milk packaging. Holcomer White helps protect long-shelf life dairy products like UHT milk and flavored milks from light, thereby maintaining their flavor and nutritional value. It provides a premium appearance and the mechanical strength of PET, and can be efficiently and cost-effectively molded on standard preform and bottle processing machinery with no production slow-down. Because a Holcomer White bottle is monolayer, there will be no sidewall delamination.

Based on the strong Holcomer White technology Holland Colours has extended the use of Holcomer White colourants to ESL milk applications as well as other dairy drinks. The benefits of Holcomer UHT are in this way introduced to PET-packaging of a wide range of dairy products.
