The challenge? You’re building something from the ground up. That means opening conversations with unfamiliar buyers, navigating long sales cycles, and educating the market on a new way of working. In return, you’ll be rewarded with a salary of up to $90k, profit share potential (equivalent to up to 1.5 months' salary), a company car and credit card to cover all expenses while traveling.

What will you be doing?
As Strategic Account Manager at Holland Colours, you take the driver’s seat in expanding our coatings & sealants business in North America. You sell a proposition that’s as bold as it is valuable: solid and liquid colorants for coatings and sealants that transforms production. Our product line offers a radically faster and more efficient manufacturing process. For your customers, that means fewer steps, faster turnaround, and real cost savings.You identify, approach, and convert industrial coatings manufacturers, from the well-known giants to high-potential mid-size players. Your target? The people who feel the friction in production: technical directors, plant managers, R&D engineers. Efforts will be evenly divided between new business development and strategic account management, with up to 60% travel to get face time with clients. This is what you’ll do:
- You identify, engage, and convert industrial coatings and sealants manufacturers into long-term customers;
- You build and manage a pipeline of opportunities;
- You forecast sales, own budget planning, and report performance against commercial targets;
- You collaborate with product development to align customer needs with tailored solutions;
- You work with marketing to shape campaigns and generate visibility for our value proposition;
- You represent Holland Colours at industry events and trade shows.

The Team
This market is greenfield, but it’s not guesswork. Together with our Business Development Manager and Product Market Manager you build a focused target list. And to keep things efficient, each Account Manager is paired with a dedicated Customer Service Representative. While you lead the commercial relationship, the CSR handles the operational flow: processing orders, tracking production timelines, and communicating updates.
Working within the broader Building & Construction team of 14, you collaborate with both commercial and technical colleagues, reporting directly to the US Sales Manager. While working remotely, no one operates on an island. There are monthly team meetings and virtual roundtables to discuss challenges and share insights.
