As a Product Development Engineer, you’ll lead recipe modifications, conduct hands-on experiments, and help scale ideas from lab bench to production line. What will you be doing?
As a Product Development Engineer, your mission is to transform technical challenges into scalable solutions. You’ll support Product Development Specialists, lead parts of innovation projects, and ensure our formulations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Lead (parts of) projects focused on recipe modifications, raw material changes, or customer-specific adaptations.
- Conduct experiments and studies independently, advising stakeholders with data-driven insights.
- Maintain detailed records of testing activities and results.
- Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
- Evaluate and improve product scalability and machine compatibility.
- Perform in-lab testing to assess raw materials and finished product performance.
- Coordinate maintenance of analytical equipment and ensure lab safety and cleanliness.
- Collaborate across departments to share knowledge and improve testing methods.

The Team
You’ll be part of a cross-functional R&D team that thrives on curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you’ll work closely with specialists in product development, process technology, and customer innovation. Whether it’s troubleshooting a plastic conversion process or scaling a new formulation, you’ll have the support of experienced colleagues and access to well-equipped lab facilities.

What you'll be doing

Your Talent
- Bachelor’s in chemistry, Engineering or similar
- At least 5 years in comparable position
- Experienced in plastic conversion machine, preferably experience in building & construction
- Proven experience of troubleshooting in plastic conversion process
- Experience of working in a lab/production environment & recipe formulating skills (preferred).
- Willing to work as a team member.
- Starting level of the English language (passive & active)
