As a Product Stewardship Specialist, you’ll ensure that our products are safe, compliant, and sustainable throughout their entire life cycle. From raw material sourcing to finished product delivery, your expertise will guide our teams and customers in understanding chemical and regulatory risks, helping us maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

What will you be doing?
As a Product Stewardship Specialist, your mission is to translate regulatory requirements and chemical safety knowledge into practical solutions for both internal teams and customers. You’ll support product compliance, advise on hazardous materials, and collaborate with Product Development and commercial teams to ensure safe and responsible product use. Your day-to-day activities may include:
- Manage and evaluate Safety & Technical Data Sheets (SDS & TDS), Food Contact Statements, Quality Statements, Test Reports, and other regulatory documents for both raw materials and finished products.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to collect necessary documentation from suppliers.
- Support Product Compliance activities within HCA.
- Maintain close communication with Sales regarding regulatory documents and compliance updates.
- Operate and manage Lisam ExESS software for SDS issuance and registration processes.
- Continuously update knowledge of local and international chemical and hazardous material regulations.
- Educate and support other departments on chemical and hazardous material regulations.
- Collaborate with Product Development Specialists and the Colour Design team on new product development initiatives.
- Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings with accuracy and professionalism.

You will be part of the Global Product Stewardship team that values collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement.
You report to the Global Team Leader Product Stewardship and you’ll work closely with colleagues in Product Development, Procurement, and Sales to ensure compliance, safety, and responsible product use. - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in a comparable position.
- Knowledge of project management principles.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of chemical and physical properties of raw materials and finished products.
- Knowledge of chemical/hazardous material regulations and ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a global team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
