What will you be doing?
As Technical Sales Support at Holland Colours, you will guide our customers through successful product trials, providing in-depth technical advice, and serving as a technical liaison between our color design lab and clients. Your expertise will ensure the optimal use of our products, enhancing customer satisfaction and contributing to our growth in the packaging sector. Your responsibilities will include:
- Translate customers’ needs and challenges into product solutions;
- Identify trends based on customer needs and validate new opportunities in collaboration with Product Development;
- Collaborate with the technology team to identify and implement product reformulations and new products;
- Define and optimize concepts (basic carriers, ingredient packages, formulation guidelines and production steps) for the use of liquid and solid additives and colorants;
- Actively share knowledge with direct and indirect colleagues, including training sessions for the sales team to enhance their technical knowledge.

In this pivotal role as Technical Sales Support at Holland Colours, collaboration is key. You'll be joining forces with our technical team, a group of colorant and additives experts who understand the intricacies of plastic down to the molecular level. You will share your technical acumen with the rest of the organization to improve our collective expertise. This is what you’ll need to bring:
- Profound understanding of trouble shooting on injection and extrusion production,
- 7 years of experience in production in the plastic / Masterbatch industry, preferably with a background in additives, OEMs, or injection molding;
- Strong affinity with processing equipment and machinery.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering. mechanical engineering, , or mechatronics
