About Owens Corning

Owens Corning is a true market leader in the high-tech production of ceiling tiles incorporating fiberglass fleece worldwide! This is reflected in flooring and ceiling tiles, among other things.

A partnership that’s been over a decade strong

Our relationship with Owens Corning spans more than 10 years! Over the years, HCA has been supplying pigments to color their non-woven materials, helping them stand out with vibrant colors that meet the toughest performance demands. Owens Corning chose to work with Holland Colours because of our proximity, excellent technical support, speed of execution, flexibility, strong relationships, and fruitful cooperation.

Co-Creating high- performance pigments

Recently, we teamed up to develop a custom pigment solution that meets Owens Corning’s specific color and exterior performance specifications, especially when it comes to UV stability.

The color development process was a true collaboration. Owens Corning provided us with their base coat recipe. Based on this, Holland Colours prepared samples on standard color indicators “calibrated” with OC product. This supported great growth in their segment.

What’s our next step together?

We’re already exploring new opportunities, such as adding mold and mildew resistance to color solutions. By integrating additives directly into pigments, we’re aiming to bring even more value to their product lines. Owens Corning envisions the ideal collaboration by continuing to work together, helping each other realize new opportunities and continuing to share trends and developments.
