Climate change is widespread, rapid, and intensifying, and some trends are now irreversible, according to the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, released on Monday, August 9, 2021. And like the UN Secretary-General, António Guterres said, we need to respond to this crisis with solidarity and courage.
At Holland Colours, we cannot, and don’t want to, ignore our world's problems. We need to make our contribution to a better future, even if it is comparatively small. That is why we have recently started what we are calling a ‘sustainability journey’ – a focus on becoming more sustainable by gradually integrating sustainability into our strategy.
Our starting point is the sustainability vision and a set of long-term objectives we defined earlier this year. Over the rest of this calendar year, we will define concrete local action plans and targets that will contribute to our achievement of these long-term objectives.
